Cameroon vs Serbia Match Preview


Week 2 brings us a match on Nov 28th where Cameroon plays host to Serbia in a clash of the World Cup. Cameroon is fresh off their 0-1 loss against Switzerland. Breel Embolo scored the first goal for Switzerland in the 48th minute, and that was all the excitement the two teams could muster In the end, Cameroon was frustrated by Switzerland’s defence and couldn’t put any tallies on the board. Switzerland ended the match with the shutout victory. Cameroon is looking for direction having earned 14 points in their last 10 matches, while in their last match, Serbia recorded a 0-2 loss against Brazil. Richarlison struck first for Brazil in the 62nd minute, then Richarlison added another in the 73rd minute At the end of 90 a dissapointed Serbia couldn’t manage to score, and Brazil took the shutout win. They’re hoping to improve on their recent performance, having earned only 9 points in their last 10 matches.

This will be the first match for these two teams against eachother this season.

Dušan Tadić has been the most prolific scorer on Serbia in the last five matches with three goals. Djawal Kaiba and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting are the top scorers for Cameroon in the last 5 matches, but unfortunately they only have one goal. It’s hard to imagine having success with those stats.
