souths have been struggling in recent weeks looking a bit tired and possibly not quite defending to the level we know and expect from this side. Tigers and Canberra crushed them on their own park both games were pretty embarrassing for the manager and his team. Yes much better performances losing a tight one to Dogs and at Penrith in the last fortnight but still nowhere near the standard of last season. Too early to write them off ofcourse but somethings not quite right in the camp this season.
Brisbane really had to get a win last week after a couple of average performances and we seen them doing it in style with the kind of rugby league they are famous for. Newcastle couldnt break down that solid line and every time a chance came along the Broncos snapped it up. Really was a pro performance by a team thats still building and looking to improve but is on the up with a very talented coach.
This games massive for Brisbane i think they have to show theres enough in the squad to compete with the top sides, something we aint seen from them in recent seasons, i have a feeling it will be a tight game with very few breaks but with home advantage im surprised Broncos do not start as slight favs. 2 points seems nice value given the form of these sides at the moment.
