killie are having a shocking time of it in the spl but the cup does give them a break from a very tough campaign. i think their main problem is the defence- and it has been for a long long time- they simply lose too many soft goals and dont mark up at corners. alan johnston is quite lucky that hearts have recieved a huge penalty because if both clubs started evenly killie would be scrapping to stay up.
utd are flying high and playing the best football in scotland at the moment. from midfield forward their side is packed with terrific footballers that play some of the best pass and move seen here for a long time. gauld is getting all the press- rumours of a 10 million pound move- but there is so many of their forwards on the very top of their form. 5 times this season utd have scored 4 goals in the one game. i actually fancy them for this cup and quite like the odds on them going all the way. the terrors were very unlucky in the league cup losing out to some poor reffin at inverness.
utd should coast through this tie by 3 or 4.
