Everton v Leicester

Everton are having a tough season after such a great campaign last year. I guess it was always going to be difficult to repeat the same level of performance but i doubt many expected them to be bottom half at this stage and only a couple of wins clear of the relegation scrap. Its just 6 wins for the season for Martinez he is a manager under a fair bit of pressure with a lot of pundits suggesting the same issues that cost Wigan their place in the top league are now evident at Goodison. Their defence at times is absolutely hopeless and they lack a bit of desire and bravery when defending balls coming into the box.
Leicester are in danger of getting cut adrift with the gap opening up between them and that bunch of sides struggling to get out or stay out of the relegation places, Qpr, Burnley, Villa. This is such an important game im not saying they must win but its vital that Pearsons side pick something up. I think to be fair to him the football recently has been a lot better than earlier in the season, its a shame he was too negative as they might regret that but at least now we are seeing them getting more men in the box. There is some nice attacking options in the side but sometimes putting the ball in the net can be an issue.
With Everton playing a big european match in midweek i like this bet on Leicester to compete 2nd half as i feel that may be when we see the home side tire a little. Its so tough to play thurs night abroad then come back to a very physical epl fixture, even if it was a great result. Everton will look to start fast and win the game early so this looks a value bet if tiredness does creep in.
