Lanciano vs Cittadella

Lanciano have no win on the last five matches and they lost the chance to reach play-off spot. True, they still have mathematical chance, but only in the theory. It is hard to believe that Siena and Spezia could both drop points, as well as two other teams – Bari and Avellino. In situation like this the coach Marco Baroni has a tough job to motivate his players. In addition, he has three suspended players as striker Manuel Turchi saw red card in the last round, while the defender Carlo Mammarella and midfielder Marcel Buchel have accumulated yellow cards. All three are banned and this is a big handicap for Baroni.
The guests are involved into the relegation battle. Cittadella have two points more than Varese and Novara, so one or three points from this match would guarantee safety. The actual form is far from good, they have two defeats and a draw on the last three matches in Serie B. Here are the results:
25.05.2014. Cittadella – Empoli 2:2 19.05.2014. Bari – Cittadella 1:0 13.05.2014. Cittadella – Palermo 0:2
Coach Claudio Foscarini has also some suspension worries in front of this match. The striker Milan Djuricand midfielder Michele Pellizzer are suspended.
Considering the lack of motivation in home squad, the poor form of the guests and that both teams are handicapped, I expect a low scoring match with no more than two goals.
