liverpool are very much in the title race and with chelsea losing at palace they now have a great chance to go on and win it. would be great to see them win it after so many years of struggling and having to watch man utd pick up prize after prize. the manager has done a brilliant job and when you have a world class goalscorer in the side anything is possible, gerrard has also had a super season and really controlled games from his position in front of the back 4.
sherwood made a nice start at spurs but things have not been going so well lately. theres also much talk of the board looking at new targets for the position which cant help the side. they are good to watch spurs and have had played some nice football but their defence is quite slow and has been really taken apart by some of the big sides.
spurs are slow at the back and will have to defend deep, i dont think they can afford to give this liverpool side space to attack, so thats why i go for spurs to get a few bookings. they have to do whatever possible to stop liverpool playing.
