i dont usually bet on draws but the odds here are too high and almost impossible to ignore.
well it goes from bad to worse for david moyes at utd, hes only got the CL left and things really couldnt have been any tougher than drawing the most powerful club in europe. im struggling to think of anything positive to say about the reds at the moment but they did win 4-1 against villa at the weekend and their form in europe has been ok. that was a great 3-0 win in the last round to rescue the tie, even if the 1st leg was shocking,so maybe the side is more suited to playing european opposition at old trafford than more physical epl sides.
bayern are flying once again and in total control in germany. its actually scary how powerful the side looks at the moment and every season they have the funds to add one or two real top class signings. they will be looking to get the CL again though thats the big one and with barca, real, and the english clubs not quite at their best , you probably wouldnt back against them doing it again. this bayern attack is lethal so utd will need to defend very well and in numbers to stop them.
there is one thing you can do in football to stop the opposition and shorten the gap in quality, park the bus and spoil the game, and i dont think anyone could blame moyes for doing exactly that. if its an open game bayern will finish the tie tonight. but if utd refuse to go forward and pick a very negative formation i think we may well see them at least keep the tie open for the 2nd leg.
