Melbourne v Penrith

melbourne can build on a nice start at manly by winning at home to the panthers.
penrith got off to a nice start too with the win over newcastle, but im not quite sure how much we can read into that one. yes they played well, got through a lot of work in the forwards but really newcastle were awful and did lose two top players to injury. penrith do also have a fine home record but a bit question mark remains over their ability on the road.
storm fought back superbly last week to take the points at manly. as tough a start as you could expect and 3 scores down early on, it was a brilliant fight back by melbourne and you cant help thinking this side is going to be really hungry and fired up to get their title back. last seasons play offs did not go to plan after a nice regualar season so slater and co will be desperate to put things right.
storm have a good record in this fixture and i expect that to continue. while penrth started very well im not sure they are strong enough yet to be taking points against the very top sides. tbh im a bit surprised by this cap i was thinking 14 or 16 because i expect a bit of a one sides match here with strom running out quite easy winners. they should be stronger in just about every position.
