Rangers v Hibs

This looks a good game which should have a few goals. Its pretty sad what has happened to Rangers over the last few years and you just hope for the fans sake things are sorted and they can start to rebuild the club and the side. The time in the bottom 2 divisions was wasted by McCoist and with a huge gap to Hearts the play offs are now their only hope. Even then if this side does make it back to the top flight they will probably be bottom 6 standard and might even be struggling to stay up unless there is serious investment. Celtic won the old firm cup tie easily and the scottish cup run came to an end with a woeful home defeat to Raith a week later. There is a serious confidence issue with the players, playing in front of an amost empty ibrox isnt helping either. Hibs started really poorly but now sit just 1 point behind the Gers having given them a couple of right hammerings already this season. They won easily in the CC tie at ibrox, should have scored more than 3 times that night, and probably played even better at Easter Road in the league match winning 4-0. This is a good footballing side and a team that can play very sharp attacking style- something Rangers hate- theres no doubt Hibs are looking a far better option to return through the play offs but like Rangers have no chance of catching Hearts for top spot. Rangers simply have to go with an attacking line up and i think we will see them actually start with Miller and Boyd in a 4-4-2. That should make for a very open game with plenty of chances at both ends as Hibs pace and quick breaks will cause a lot of issues once again for a very slow Gers backline. But i think we might see Rangers stop this dire run by at least grabbing a point with a battling performance, maybe 2-2. over with vic at 1. 83
