Salford v St Helens

this looks a good bet on the reds as it should be a close game.
saints have started very well with a fine win at warrington, forwards superb and walsh really controlling things, and a win over hull at home last week despite a poor 1st half. they look strong in the middle, very fit, and hungry to get back to the glory days when saints were the team everyone had to beat. the signs are good for nathan brown its clear pre season has gone well but it is a bit early to be talking winning prizes.
salford is a great story it is going to be very interesting to see how things go for them this season. the doctor has spent a fortune on new players and not just decent players big names in rugby league like morley and chase. sadly chase was injured but that wasnt a problem at london as the other backs stepped into do a nice job. 2 wins from 2 games, maybe not tough games but the perfect start, this is the real test though can the reds handle one of the big boys and slow down their massive forward pack.
i think saints will get the points here but i dont expect a hammering. we should see a full house and a salford side fired up to give it their all. if they can compete in the forwards, big name needed by morley, then i think salford can run saints close and look nice value on the cap.
