saints so badly need to get a result and if they are going to save the manager it probably has to be tonight.
aberdeen have made a good start under new boss mciness, maybe not the greatest football but this is a solid side with some very experienced spl and international players, and a nice mix of young dons lads that came through the system. they dont score many goals but are quite solid at the back and have a fair bit of pace on the break.
st mirren have been a bit of shambles since that famous cup win over hearts last year. its hard to explain whats happened to the side but i guess when you get on a losing run its very difficult to break it. hearts are getting closer and cutting that gap after getting a huge penalty, so its really time for saints to wise up and start doing it for their manager. the pressure is huge now a lot of fans want change so its now or never they simply have to get a win and they must cut out the crazy errors in defence.
i just have a feeling saints are going to do it tonight, this is not a form pick at all but often in sport the game is simply about who wants it more and who needs win and no manager in the UK needs a result more than danny lennon. i think we will see a very tight match here with defences on top but with home advantage i think the saints have enough quality in attack to grab what would be a vital win and maybe kick off their season.
