Handball, SEHA League
Tatran Presov are on the second position in SEHA League and they have an excellent opportunity to climb on the top. Of, course, they need to beat Metalurg in this match. Tatran are in solid form at the moment and have two wins on the last two matches. Here are the results:
09.03.2014. Borac – Presov 27:29 01.03.2014. Presov – Zagreb 31:28
However, the main reason for my pick is not Tatran, but Metalurg. First of all, they are in awful form in SEHA League and they lost all chances for the Top-Four. Metalurg have four defeats on the last five matches. Just look the results:
09.03.2014. Metalurg Skopje – Meshkov Brest 25:26 04.03.2014. Metalurg Skopje – Vojvodina 29:27 01.03.2014. Partizan Belgrad – Metalurg Skopje 23:22 27.02.2014. Nexe – Metalurg Skopje 27:23 18.02.2014. Meshkov Brest – Metalurg Skopje 27:24
In addition, Metalurg will play in Slovakia without the best players. Both goalkeepers, Darko Stanic and Rade Mijatovic left in Skopje, as well as other players: Renato Vungrinec, Filip Mirkulovski, Goce Georgievski, Dejan Manaskov, Goce Ojleski, Ace Jonoski and Vanco Dimovski. Metalurg will play with B-squad and I expect an easy job for Tatran.
At the end I will mention that Tatran won the reverse fixture. The match in Skopje finished with 32:23 for Tatran (25.10.2013). I expect another high win for Tatran Presov.
