Tottenham v West Ham

west ham have brilliant in defence in all their away games this season. yes its pretty awful to watch but the manager is pleased as all the success he has had in the game is built on strong defending and quality set plays. they grabbed a 0-0 at newcastle, a 0-0 at southampton and were very unlucky to go down 1-0 at hull to the softest penalty of the season so far. 3 terrific defence performances next to nothing from their attack. today im sure we see the hammers park the bus another 0-0 given spurs form would be a terrific result.
spurs are in that title race, its wide open and they have started superbly well. i think the main difference in spurs this season is the defence, the stats dont lie this has been one of the top teams in england for shutting the opposition out. strange because AVB has always been a very very attacking manager but maybe hes decided playing a bit tighter, defending very well and taking the odd chance at the other end is the road to success. its certainly working this season, with cheslea, man utd and man city all still till find form teams like spurs, liverpool and arsenal are taking their chance.
as i said i expect the hammers to park the bus here and spoil this one, for all spurs nice football they aint scoring many goals and have taken quite a few games by 1-0, i think that could well be the score again here with west ham offering next to nothing at the other end.
