Warrington v Wigan

warrington-8.5
wolves can cover the start here but it should be a tight 1st half with some big hits.
wigan are really struggling with the loss of some big names, pat richards, sam tomkins and mossop all moving on to a higher level, its been a tough start to the new season and the warriors do seem to have lost their ability to defend the try line like no other side. cas put 30 on them, roosters even more even hull kr made plenty of openings last week scoring 20 points and it should have been more. its a bit early to be writing anyone off but im sure even wigan fans would admit the side is nowhere near the level it was at the end of what was a very successful year last season.
warrington didnt make a brilliant start either but i think the win over london and last weeks disciplined performance at salford suggests they are getting closer to top form. they also played well in 2nd half at leeds and the rhinos are probably the team to beat this year. like wigan a few big names have moved on and its up to younger players to grab their chance, in the last couple of games thats exactly what they have done.
i think this will be tight early on with both teams defending and looking to find some space with their kicking game, but when it opens up a little im sure warrington have the class and quality to post a decent score. the team will be hurting from previous defeats to warriors so tony smith will be looking at this one as a chance to gain a little bit of revenage.
warrington-8.5 with bet 365 at evens.
