Chelsea v Liverpool

this looks an open game between 2 good attacking sides.
chelsea got a real shock at the weekend as lower league opposition recovered from 2 down to win at the bridge. it was one of the most amazing results and games of the season and something you dont really expect from a team managed by the special one. mourinho has said there is no need to panic and has said very little to the players but you can be sure he expects a return to form in this game and the side to continue their excellent performances in both epl and europes top competition.
liverpool made a horrible start but have really improved in recent months. a place in the champions league is still possible but to be fair it is going to be really tough with as many as 7 teams fighting for the 4 places(2 will no doubt go to chelsea and city). their best bet to save the season is a cup win and having played well in the first league and given chelsea a lot of problems in cup ties over the years rodgers will be looking forward to this one.
i dont think liverpool are the kind of team that can just sit back and look to hang on, they love to attack and play with a good tempo, thats why i expect a good game here liverpool wont go through by defending and will have been watching their defending closey as bradford scored 4 times at the weekend. i think we get a very open classic cup tie here with plenty of chances at both ends and also a couple of goals each side.
