chelsea are very much in the running for the title, well they would be with mourinho in charge the guy is a winner, but its going to be very tough to beat city to the title with the form they are in at the moment. still with city going to spurs and cheslea playing one of the worst sides in the league this is a good chance to possibly gain a couple of points or maybe even 3 if spurs were to do them a favour.
their attack might not have the greatest goalscorers but in oscar and hazzard they have to terrific wide men that are causing epl defences havoc. the fact they can afford to let mata go tells you everything. this chelsea side is overloaded with genuine quality out side. i still say they are a bit suspect on crosses and set plays though and west hams aim will be to use these situations to their advantage.
hammers are really woeful and probably should have made the change and got big sam out the door. how embarrasing and frustrating must it be to pay for upton park season tickets and listen to your manager go on and on about a decent clean sheet record. no one will care about that if they are playing in the championship and sides that play the kind of football west ham do usually end up going down.
i think sam parks the bus and looks to spoil this theres no way he wants an open game. thats why i go for corners chelsea have brilliant wide men and a lot of the passes will be played to the flanks and should result in plenty of corners and some hard work for the keeper.
