Man City v Barcelona

this should be the tie of the round with the best chance for a few goals.
barca aint quite been on the kind of form we expect from messi and co and trail real in the domestic competition. even so this is still a wonderful side to watch and while their CL record in the final stages hasnt been great recently- its still one of the sides to beat. they seem to be defending a little better now though and that could make all the difference, i always think they are let down by some dreadful defending when it gets to the closing stages and most important part of europes top competition.
city are hanging in there but also trail in the epl with chelsea looking too strong at the moment. we did see a nice performance at the weekend by city as newcastle were crushed but i always think they a problem with their back 4 and keeper. we have to be honest although they got through the groups this year their performances at this level havent been great and quite often we see them well short of whats needed to take on top spanish or german sides.
i dont see a tight cagey game i expect both teams to go out to win it, barca might feel they can finish it tonight having beaten city quite easily last year. it should be a terrific match the attacking quality on both sides is 2nd to none.
